Book Condition

Although we work very hard to produce quality products, some books are inadvertently produced with defects. We will replace without question any book with manufacturing defects such as missing pages, illegible pages, upside-down pages, and pages out of sequence. The defective books must be returned to us so we can see the defects and correct the problems that caused them.

Contents of our books are adequately described on this web site. If you can show that the content of these books is not as described on this web site, then we will replace the book or refund your money. Your book will not be replaced or refunded if you didn't read our adequate description thoroughly. The book must be returned to us for credit so we can see the discrepancy and correct it.

Pricing Errors

If we make a mistake computing your book, shipping, and/or total charges, we will correct our mistake by issuing a credit on your credit card. You must tell us about the mistake so we can correct it.

We Must Be Contacted

To receive your refund, you must contact us within 30 days of sale and give us a fair opportunity to remedy the situation. We cannot provide refunds or replacements for problems we are not told about. If you request a credit from your credit-card company without giving us a fair opportunity to redress your problem, we will point that out to our bank when we defend ourselves.

Books Must Be Returned

To receive your refund, you must return the defective books to us. We cannot provide refunds for problems we cannot see.

What Is Not Covered

When you place your order, we assume that you read the clearly written book descriptions on this web site. Books that are not what you expected because you did not read the clearly written descriptions are not replaceable or refundable. You must be able to show us that the books do not match our descriptions.

All our shipping charges are clearly shown on an easily accessible page of this web site. When you select a shipping method on the order form, we assume that you have checked the shipping charges for the service level you told us to use. Shipping charges that are higher than you expected are covered only if we made a mistake.

We use only reliable commercial shippers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS, and we get receipts and tracking numbers when we ship your books. When we say your books have been shipped, they have indeed been shipped, and we can prove it. Damages or losses occurring while the books are in the custody of shipping companies or customs officials are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for them. Therefore, books that are damaged or lost enroute are not our fault or responsibility. You must contact the shipper or customs officials for redress.

We are not responsible for import taxes that countries charge their citizens. We do not receive those taxes, and we do not know which countries charge them or how they are computed. Therefore, any issue you might have with taxes added by your government should be addressed to your government. If you refuse to accept a delivery because you feel your government's taxes are inappropriate or excessive, no refund will be forthcoming from us.

We feel that our guarantee and your rights are fair to you and us. We strive to be honest and fair with our customers, and we expect the same from them. Everyone who is fair and honest with us will be treated respectfully. Anybody who tries to cheat us will be defended against vigorously.
