It's About Realism
Most flight simmers are looking for realism in all the wrong places.
Realistic sceneries, aircraft, panels, gauges, sounds, and ATC are all very nice, but the only true way to simulate flight realistically is to do it the way real-world pilots do it. Simming without knowing about your aircraft, or following the proper procedures, or using official aviation charts are not realistic.
That's what my books are about. You'll learn how to know your aircraft, follow procedures, use real aviation charts, and much more.
All my books are written exclusively for flight simmers. They're based on official aviation reference and training materials. They explain all the information in easy-to-understand English. Terms and acronyms are clearly defined.
If realistic flight simming is what you seek, you'll find it through my books. And your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Order my flight-sim books today. You'll be glad you did.

Instructions supplied with flight-simulation programs skim the surface of what a flight-sim pilot needs to know.
Go deeper than the superficial and learn how real pilots perform common, crucial, and required maneuvers correctly.
ALL BASIC MANEUVERS EXPLAINED IN ONE BOOK
Flight-Sim Maneuvers explains how you can fly your flight simulator just as
real pilots fly their real airplanes. You will learn about using airports, taking off, performing aerial maneuvers, landing and much more. It's all explained in a manual written just for flight-simulation pilots like you from real aviation texts. Clear explanations, concise definitions, easy-to-follow graphics and self-learning exercises make your learning task easy and fun. And it applies to all flight-simulation programs, too, not to only one of them. With all this information for only US$14.95US$13.95, Flight-Sim Maneuvers is among the better values on the Internet.
Plan and Prepare Your Flights Professionally
An all-new chapter in your Flight-Sim Maneuvers explains how to prepare yourself and your aircraft for every flight, just as real-world pilots must do!
Use Airports Professionally and Safely
Learn the correct ways to move around airports the way real pilots do. Move safely on the aprons. Taxi smoothly along the taxiways. Cross intersections prudently. Hold at holding areas and prepare for your take-offs. Use runways properly. Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers explains it all!
Take Off Efficiently and Safely
Learn to execute every take-off like an experienced, certified pilot. Apply proper flap settings. Use the right amount of runway. Rotate at the best speed. Climb at optimum rates. Use weight, drag and inertia to your advantage. Use the four factors that affect takeoffs. Take off smoothly in head and cross winds. Take off from short runways. Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers tells you how!
Perform Aerial Maneuvers Smoothly
Learn to climb efficiently, fly straight and level easily, accelerate without gaining altitude, decelerate without losing altitude, descend without gaining airspeed, and use momentum and drag to your advantage. Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers shows how to do it!
Recognize and Recover From Stalls
Stalling can be the unwary pilot's enemy. Knowing how to recognize and recover from them makes the difference between safe flight and disaster. From your Flight-Sim Maneuvers, you will learn the types of stalls, understand what initiates stalls, recognize the four factors that contribute to stalls. You will also practice stall recovery and avoid uncontrollable spins. Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers explains it clearly.
Turn Cleanly and Effectively
Turning safely and effectively demands considerable attention from
every pilot. Learn what to look for, how to execute the turn and what
to avoid. Use yaw, bank and pitch properly. Select the best turning
radius. Use the nine steps of every complete turn. Turn shallow,
moderate and steep. Maintain altitude through turns, or climb while
turning, or descend while turning -- whatever you need. Use your turn
coordinator effectively. Use ground references when turning. Your Flight-Sim
Maneuvers describes it thoroughly!
Fly Standard Airport Traffic Patterns Like a Professional
The standard airport traffic pattern is used at airports around the
world. Flying it requires all the visual skills pilots need to know
such as turning, descending, and flying straight and level, but close
to the ground and in a neat pattern. Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers
shows you every step and requirement!
Land Safely, Smoothly and Easily
Landing is among the more demanding and risky phases of flight. Master
landing, and you will be able to do nearly everything else! Understand
physics and dynamics of landing. Recognize physical and psychological
demands on pilots. Follow standard landing procedures. Use safe landing
practices. Use flaps and slips properly and effectively. Flare and
touch down smoothly. Land safely in head and cross winds. Clear
obstacles when landing. Land on short runways. Execute missed
approaches. Practice touch and goes. Your Flight Simulator Maneuvers
shows you how!
Fly Multi-Engine Aircraft
This special chapter explains the benefits, challenges and procedures for flying aircraft with more than one engine. How to handle the extra workload. What to do about P Factor. How to control thrust imbalance. Synchronizing the propellers. Taking off and landing on short runways. Performing slow-speed maneuvers. What to do when an engine fails. Your new Flight-Sim Maneuvers explains these and more about multi-engine aircraft completely and concisely.
Find Needed Information Quickly and Easily
Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers is organized and laid out for your easiest use. Information is divided into relevant chapters, and chapters are organized into easy-to-follow sections. Headings and captions help you find information quickly. It's fully indexed for quick reference.

Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers lies flat for easy use at your simulator.
Clearly Written and Easy to Use
Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers is written by expert flight simmers and professional aviators, then published by an experienced training enterprise to help you learn by reading and doing. Policies, procedures and practices used by professional real-world jet pilots are explained in straight-forward, easy-to-follow English. Visual aids help you grasp the principles, and easy-to-follow exercises help you apply the concepts and methods for experience and learning.
Graphical aids are easy to read, understand, and use.

For Everyone
The flight principles, procedures and practices explained in Flight-Sim
Maneuvers apply to all aircraft -- general aviation, commercial or military -- as well as all flight-sim games. It's comparable to flight training manuals that apply to all aircraft, including the popular and special ones. We can't write one book that explains every specific aircraft, and we can't write a separate book for each airplane, either. So we explain the most common general-aviation aircraft in this book, and readers can easily adapt our explanations to the specific aircraft they're flying. Frankly, anybody who cannot adapt fundamental knowledge to specific aircraft lacks the right stuff for flight simming.
For Anywhere
Whether you are in Africa, Asia, the Americas, Australia, Europe or the Pacific Rim, Flight-Sim Maneuvers is for you. It is based on real aviation rules, principles, procedures and practices that general-aviation pilots use around the world. The only exceptions are those few aviation laws and regulations unique to your country.
For PC Flight Simulation Exclusively
Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers is written exclusively for flight-simulation pilots. It's based on real aviation textbooks and manuals -- with the relevant material emphasized and the irrelevant material omitted. You will not need to flip through pages and pages of technical aviation texts, because that work has been done for you. You won't have to skip over irrelevant materials, because they have been omitted for you.

Sample Text
Given
the dynamics, demands and risks of successful landings, they represent high achievement for any pilot. In particular, they reflect forethought, planning and decisiveness as well as abilities to divide attentions over several tasks simultaneously and execute several maneuvers in quick succession. For these reasons, successful landings are a source of great satisfaction, pride and sometimes relief for all pilots.
It's easy to follow, isn't it?

A Message From Your Author
Realistic flight simming requires knowledge and adherence to professional requirements and practices. Simmers who jump into the cockpit without these basics are needlessly frustrating themselves. Simulate flight realistically by knowing what you're doing and by doing what real-world pilots do.

Get a Free V-Speed Card!
With the Purchase of Bill Stack's Excellent Flight-Sim Books!
V-speeds are a series of velocities designated by aviation authorities. Some are minimums, some are maximums, and some are optimums. For example, Vne means the designated velocity should never be exceeded (it differs for each aircraft).
Your V-speed card lists the most common general-aviation V-speeds in two easy-to-find ways -- alphabetically on one side and by velocity on the other side. Each V-speed is identified by name and abbreviation and explained in clear language. The cards are a handy size for using right at your flight simulator.
Your free V-Speed card is Bill Stack's way of saying: "Thank you!"

Frequently Asked Questions
Three questions are frequently asked about our books:
How Many Pages?
Your Flight-Sim Maneuvers has 166 pages packed with valuable information in an easy-to-follow writing style.
Are the Graphics in Color?
All the graphics are monochrome, as is true with nearly all aviation and flight-sim manuals. The books we publish provide knowledge, information and skill for a reasonable investment. Our graphics are carefully designed to convey concepts quickly and simply at minimal cost. Flight simmers who buy our books appreciate this feature, so we do not waste time and money trying to dazzle them with expensive and unnecessary colors.
Does the Book
Contain Charts?
No. We are not chart suppliers. We are trainers who publish how-to and reference books to help flight simmers enjoy their hobby as much as possible. Our books have examples of charts for demonstration and learning, but we are neither a publisher nor a supplier of charts. If you are looking for charts, check out the charts suppliers listed on our links site. NOTE: There is no such thing as a single book that contains all the airways, navaids, approach plates and so forth for the entire world. It would be too heavy to lift!

RELEVANCY NOTICE:
Like all our flight-sim books, Flight-Sim Maneuvers is only for home flight-simulation computer games. It is based on real aviation laws, regulations, and procedures so home flight-simulation enthusiasts can maximize their enjoyment. Because some aspects of home flight-simulation games are not exactly like real-world aviation, some information in this manual is not exactly like real flight. That is why these books are not intended for and should not be used for real-world flight or lessons. We accept no liability for any misuse of these flight-simulation manuals.
